Some plancha accessories multiply your cooking possibilities.
The cooking lid or dome is recommended for braising.
Covering your food on a plancha allows you to braise it. Similar to steaming, braising cooks food in a sealed environment over a gentle heat, using only the water naturally contained in the ingredients. With a fold-down cooking lid, you can steam vegetables or fish on a plancha. The 53196SE and 53197SE hinged lids attach to the edges of Roller Grill planchas. You lower the lid onto the cooking surface while cooking, let your dishes simmer gently and obtain meals that are full of flavour. You can even try cooking a pizza or a tarte flambée by placing a pizza stone on the piping hot cooking plate, all enclosed under the lid. The CV53175 and CV53176 cooking domes, which are fully removable, hook onto the edges of the plancha after use. This type of stainless steel dome lid allows you to cook meat or fish “as if in an oven” with a plancha. A temperature indicator is built into Roller Grill cooking lids and domes: a quick glance is all it takes to keep an eye on the cooking!
The cooking rack is often reserved for the most delicate foods.
With a plancha, every kind of cooking is possible! For more delicate foods such as stuffed tomatoes, we recommend using a GR53175 or GR53176 cooking rack. The stainless steel rack can be positioned freely on the plancha. You gently place the stuffed tomatoes on the cooking rack. You cover them with a dome for braising or to keep them warm. In the same way, you can also cook jacket potatoes. This cooking rack also keeps pieces of fish and cuts of meat already cooked on the plancha warm.
ROLLER GRILL gives you the spatula and the recipe book!
Bamboo or metal skewers with a “special grill” wooden handle, tongs for picking up small pieces of meat or shellfish, a scoop for gathering sliced meat on the plate, an angled spatula for lifting delicate dishes such as an omelette or a pissaladière off the plancha… All these kitchen utensils, often presented in a carry case, also allow you to vary your plancha cooking. This wide range of accessories, along with aprons, gloves and other oven mitts, floods the shelves of specialist shops and garden centres as summer approaches. With every purchase of a Roller Grill plancha, this French-made kitchen equipment brand focuses on the essentials and gives you a wooden spatula and the recipe book “Trop bon ! La cuisine à la plancha” by Michelin-starred chef Jacques Thorel, free of charge. The wooden spatula lets you sauté vegetables and also work mixtures, sauces or creams on the hot plancha. The recipe book offers a selection of original recipes that are easy to make with the Roller Grill plancha.
Opt for a trolley or a serving cart and gain mobility!
The trolley lets you build in the plancha and achieve a barbecue design.
To cook in your garden, on the terrace or in your outdoor kitchen, fit your plancha with a trolley! The Roller Grill plancha or griddle plate fits easily into the Roller Grill CHPS 400, CHPS 600 and CHPS 900 trolleys. This stainless steel and wood trolley is an all-terrain plancha trolley thanks to its 2 wheels and 2 adjustable feet. The 2 fold-down stainless steel shelves make the whole unit easy to handle. These side shelves have a utensil rail and a stop for resting serving plates. The base is designed as a storage area. Add a hinged lid fixed to the edge of the plancha, and your plancha trolley has all the design of an ergonomic barbecue!
The serving cart is another mobile worktop option.
The serving cart is another way to gain mobility with your plancha. This stainless steel rolling table is a genuine mobile worktop. The plancha sits on the upper level. The base serves as storage space. A removable side shelf allows you to guide and move the cart. It can be used as a worktop with its utensil or tea-towel rail on the side. Mounted on 4 castors, this functional cart lets you cook on the plancha on the terrace, in your garden or on the balcony. Kept away from damp, the plancha and the cart can be covered with a protective cover when not in use.
