The electric griddle PSR 900 EC is a chromed steel plate highly appreciated to sear foodstuff.
The plate of the electric griddle PSR 900 EC is 10 mm thick. This steel plate is coated with a chrome decor. The temperature rise of this gas griddle is 7-8 minutes. The thickness of the plate is enough to perfectly sear some food like meat, fish and vegetables thanks to quality polishing.
The chromed coating of the steel plate is made in the factory by 3 polishing passes. The chrome decor plate ensures excellent heat transfer. This cooktop is only used with wooden or silicone spatulas to avoid damage of the chrome coating.
Thanks to its perfectly smooth appearance, the chromed steel plate allows very good contact cooking for a direct heat transfer to the food to be cooked. This electric griddle PSR 900 EC is widely used in large kitchens of high level restaurants.
The professional griddle PSR 900 EC allows an even cooking of a wide variety of products.
After 7-8 minutes of preheating, the chrome plate reaches an even temperature over the entire cooking surface thanks to three Incoloy heating elements. These three coil-shaped heating elements cover the entire surface of the chromed steel plate. Each heating element has a power of 3 kW under the enamel plate, namely 9 kW in total. Thanks to the power of the heating elements, the electric plancha grill PSR 900 EC ensures homogeneous cooking without heat loss on the edges.
This professional griddle plate can grill a wide variety of meats, fish, burgers, sausages, vegetables, onions but also fried eggs, omelettes. Thanks to the independent control of the 3 cooking zones, you can alternate and vary the cooking on the 900 mm wide plate. For example, it is possible to grill a meat at 200°C on one side, to simmer vegetables at 160°C and to keep warm the 3rd part of the plate at 100°C.
The juices and grease are drained into the fully removable drawer. The stainless steel collecting tray can be cleaned in a dishwasher. After intensive use and after disconnecting the professional griddle plate, it is possible to deglaze the still hot cooking plate with cold water or some ice cubes.
